Cosmetology Program

Our Cosmetology Program equips you with the essential skills, safety practices, professional habits, and mindset you need to excel in the beauty industry. Designed to meet the State Board of Cosmetology’s requirement of 1500 hours, our program prepares you for both the licensing exam and entry-level positions in cosmetology or related fields.

FRESHMAN ………… 12 weeks
SOPHOMORE ………. 12 weeks

SENIOR ……………….. 4 weeks

Graduation Requirements:

In order to graduate the 1500 hour Cosmetology Program and be recommended to the State Board of Cosmetology for licensure examination, students must satisfy all financial obligations and complete the following requirements:

  1. Each student must clock in the specified number of hours of training.
  2. Maintain a satisfactory passing average, minimum of 75%.
  3. Pass a final theory and final practical examination with 75% or higher.
  4. Complete and Submit all rubrics and projects (including additional instructional material) to meet and exceed the required state theory and practical requirements (performed on clients/mannequins) in their entirety and with a degree of perfection.
  5. Must receive all documentation required for the program to grant student diploma of completion.
  6. Satisfy all financial obligations to the school unless other arrangements have been made.


All students who successfully complete graduation requirements are issued a Certificate of Completion. The school will not release an official transcript until all graduation requirements are met.

There is no substitute for education. In order to gain a license in cosmetology in South Carolina you must have attended a licensed school, completed the minimum required training hours, and pass the state’s cosmetology board exams.

Cosmetology Program Tuition and Fees (1500 hours):

  • Application Fee: $100 (Non-refundable)
  • Registration Fee: $2,400 (Non-refundable) – includes accounting fees ($450), books ($1,450) and Student Cosmetology Program Kit ($500)
  • Cosmetology Program Tuition: $15,600
  • Total (not including Application Fee or Required State Board Kit – see below): $18,000

ESTHETICS PROGRAM​

The goal of our Esthetics Program is to prepare students for South Carolina’s state licensing exam to become a certified Esthetician. Covering a comprehensive curriculum that includes business practices, facial massage, electrical facial treatments, hair removal, makeup, body wraps, and more, this program ensures you’re well-prepared to pass the State Board exam and excel in entry-level esthetician roles or similar professions.

The program consists of classroom curriculum instruction, advanced classroom and clinic learning, clinic service learning experience, and where dreams come true found in your syllabus provided in your welcome packet.

  • Application Fee: $100 (Non-refundable)
  • Registration Fee: $1,600 (Non-refundable) – includes accounting fees ($450) and books ($1,150)
  • Esthetics Program Tuition: $6,900
  • Total (not including Application Fee or Required State Board Kit – see below): $8,500

General School Fees:

  • Cosmetology Program Student Kit: $1,450 (If enrolling as a Transfer Student, this fee is applicable as no registration fees are paid which include the kit.)
  • Cosmetology Program Books: $500 (If enrolling as a Transfer Student, this fee is applicable as no registration fees are paid which include the books.)
  • Esthetics Program Books: $1,150 (Transfer Students Only)
  • Transfer Student Tuition: $10.25 per hour for remaining program hours
  • Schedule/Program Transfer Fee: $50
  • Withdrawal/Termination Fee: $150
  • Re-enrollment Fee: $100 (For re-entry of withdrawn students)
  • Transcript Fee/Locker Lock Fee (Lost or Broken): $10
  • Late Fees: $10 per day
  • File Documents: $0.15 per copy
  • Extra Instructional Charge: $250 per week
  • Bank Fees: $50 for each returned check
  • T-Shirt: $15 SS/$20 LS (One free in tuition. Fee is for additional T-shirt)
  • Replacement Badge Fee or Temporary Badge Fee: $5/$5 (Replacement Badge – allow 48 hours)
  • Required State Board Kit (Not Included in Tuition): At cost (student’s responsibility to purchase from school or another retailer)
  • Lost or Damaged Items: At cost
  • State Board Fines Incurred: At cost (Fines directly related to student violations)
  • Interest on In-House Financing Fee: 25%
